ALLIED WINGS No. 19 - The EE Canberra B(I).8
Hello,
I'm pleased to announce the release of my latest publication: Allied Wings 19, on the Canberra and its intruder version. The EE Canberra is probably one of the most iconic British aircraft of the first Cold War years. It was declined in various marks, and this book is devoted to the intruder version, the B.8 which was used by the RAFG in West Germany between the end of 1950s to the early 1970s. This is mainly a pictorial study in over 110 photographs, many in colour, and seven colour profiles. The full RAF register is included and a photo or more of each aircraft is published as far as possible, describing in the same time the evolution of the camouflage and markings. A short chapter on the exports is also included. https://www.createspace.com/6109777 Thank you for your attention Phil (www.raf-in-combat.com) |

Hi Phil,
Congratulations. That said, I wish more independent publishers would announce their books here. And forgive me for being presumptuous, but I hope you've sent out a few copies to reputable sites for review. As a long-time editor and researcher (fiction) in the book publishing business, getting the word out is so important. Best, Ed |

Thanks Ed,
Of course I will send some copies to some selected sites, but most are taking a lot of time before to put on line the reviews, so it will take probably months before reading a review in some cases. Phil |
