"Monte rosa" is a ship used for transport to and from Norway ( and proably other counties) was sarbotaged in norway.

He is leaving Norway with Ju52 as a Begeliter, to Aalborg Øst 26.6.1942 then to Kopenhagen the same day.
Is his name to be found at Værløse after this within the training services?

Ernst

Re: Need help with text in flugbuch Fw58 Norway

The corrected and quite complete (one missing word) text:

1. Einberufung und Abschied vom Zivilleben, 2.) Rekrutenzeit,3.) ULK " Monte Rosa "
4.)Flugzeugführerschule AB 125 Neukuhren, 5.) JG 106 Lachen-Speyer(s)dorf.
6.) Reichsüberprüfungsstelle für Flugzeugführer 7.) JG 108 Bad Vöslau mit
Abschnitten auf Münchendorf. 3.JG Ost Liegnitz.
1. ....den 2.Mai 1941, drrr,drrrr,drrrr.... "Ja, bitte? Hier Hellwig & Belzer." "Hier Frau Vogel, Könnte ich bitte meinen Sohn sprechen?" "Einen Moment bitte, ich verbinde!"..."Paulsen!" "Tag Herr Paulsen, kann ich Günther sprechen?" .. "Sofort Frau Vogel." ...

The "Monte Rosa" was used as residential ship in Stettin for Fliegeranwärterbataillone from January 1940 to 1942 (I'd guess this was the point 3.)). ULK is Unteroffiziers - Lehrkompanie.

Re: Need help with text in flugbuch Fw58 Norway

Thanks for the correction Rasmussen.

After 1. Heimatfluge (reise) ? 2 Mai ... So he look thve had a long service in luftwaffe as begliter and flugzeugfurer.

Later he was with Jg302
Downed B-24 in 24.5 and 9.6 1944
Wounded in action with his G6 wnr 441625 8.7.44
So this is proably written in hospital.
I have only 6 flights in my loggbook, so were is all the others
Hopfully there are more flights in Norway earlier.

Re: Need help with text in flugbuch Fw58 Norway

"Heimatflug" --- I don't believe it. The first word(s) was (were) overwritten, the last word looks like the name of a town "... burg" I'd guess ...
