ME 109 Part Identification Help
Hey everyone,
Not sure where else to turn so here we go. My grandfather served on a B-24 over Germany during the war, before he passed away he gave me a piece off a wrecked ME-109 he found after his tour. Ever since he gave it to me I have been trying to find out where it came from on the aircraft and what it meant but I have had no luck. My best guess is a tag that identified a control inside the cockpit. That being said, if any of you can help me identify it OR point me to someone who could offer some assistance that would be awesome! Thanks! Richard Bentley |

Re: ME 109 Part Identification Help
Not from an Me109.
this is a data plate for one of the radios belonging to the FuG10 radio system...so this is from an He111, Ju88, Ju87, or simialr bomber type aircraft (FuG10 was not used on the Me109).. Mike |
