Which Luftwaffen Kriegsberichterkompanie that was precisely, that I cannot tell.
Acc to (>>>https://www.archivportal-d.de/item/EAP7I3IKJGWP5QJ3C6OJVK6A4Y5NDNI4<<<) there was only one (1) Lw KBK zbV.

This is accidentely an extract of Carsten Petersen's (post #7) German text.

The Lw KBK units were:
from 07, 08/1939 on:
--Luftwaffen-Propaganda-Kompanien Nr. 1 - 4 in Berlin, Braunschweig, München und Wien.
--for Luftwaffenkommando Ostpreußen one indipendend Propaganda-Zug in Königsberg.

1940:
--Luftwaffen-Kriegsberichter-Kompanien Nr. 5 - 8
--Fallschirm-Kriegsberichter-Kompanie
--Luftwaffen-Kriegsberichter-Kompanie z.b.V.

1943 - mid 1944:
Disbanding of all Luftwaffen-Kriegsberichter-Kompanien and reorganised into Luftwaffen-Kriegsberichter-Abteilungen. At that time the Luftwaffe had eight (8) Luftwaffen-Kriegsberichter-Abteilungen with approx. 25 Kriegsberichter-Züge, the Luftwaffen-Kriegsberichter-Zug "Hermann Göring" and 6-8 Propaganda Züge.

End of 1944:
Restructuring and inclusion of remaining Luftwaffen-Kriegsberichter-Abteilungen and LwKB-Züge into Wehrmacht-KB-Abt, Wehrmacht-KB-Zge and Wehrmacht-Propaganda-Zge, but retaining their branch assignement.

Re: Unknown emblem

Hi Gents,
I didn't imagine this question would reach that far. I guess it was necessary.
At that point, I want to thank Chuck, Sidney, Carsten and Christian again.
Very interesting and valuable.
Left (at least) another point: what was the use of the small aircraft - small for what I know so far - in that organization? Aerial views ?
Cheers,
Franck.

Re: Unknown emblem

Most likely, that "small" plane (e.g. Zlin212) was just used for fast distribution of urgent material or light, fast, general transport/ liason. It seems very unlikely that they would fly an active/ live recce mission on any bigger scale with such a small plane.
