ME and KSU Luftgau reports

Hello all

Does anyone have KSU-1999, ME-1757 and ME-1808 Luftgau reports.
They are all for B 24 Liberators in Dubrovnik (Croatia) area.

I know they are in NARA but in case somebody have them...
as always, thanks in advance

Re: ME and KSU Luftgau reports

Hello drifter206,

can you tell me the loss date of the Liberator with the German casualty no. ME 1757? The loss dates of the cases ME 1808 and ME 1999 are known to me.

Regards
Leo

Hello Rottler

B 24 (4264344) (Brotnice) (s-w Dubrovnik) 22.07.1944. (KSU-1808)
B 24 (4278519) (Molunat - underwater) (s-w Dubrovnik) 17.08.1944 (KSU-1999)
B-24 (4299754) (Dubrovnik - unknown loc.) 03.07.1944. (ME-1757)

In MACR for these cases are additional pages from KSU and ME reports. However I would like to find is there more than one page in original German reports.

Hello Antun,

thank you for your reply. I have found your thread from November 2018 „ww2 crash cases exhibition in Dubrovnik“. According to this you have the MACR documents and the Dulag-Luft returns ME 1757, ME 1808 and ME 1999, but you are looking for more than these German one page documents.

Leo

Hello Leo
Yes, I am trying to find out was there more than one page per report. I read somewhere that these reports are kept in NARA rg 242. I recently found out about these and want to know more before contacting NARA. Or if somebody already have them and is willing to share that would be also great .
