Peter Brothers DSO DFC
Hi guys
Peter Brothers was with 32 Squadron early in the Battle of Britain. He provided a piece for Max Arthur's book 'Lost Voices of the RAF', in which he stated that one day he shot down a Ju87, landed at Hawkinge to refuel, and later the same day shot down a Bf109. I can't find any reference to his claiming a Ju87, not in Chris Shores' 'Aces High' at least. Any ideas? Cheers Brian |

Hi Brian
No reference to any Stuka claim by Pete Brothers in Andy Saunders' "Stuka Attack!". Ian |

Re: Peter Brothers DSO DFC
Hi Brian,
The nearest information that I can find for this event would be a combat on July 20th 1940. Peter Brothers was Blue 1 and claimed a 109, John Humpherson was also in Blue section and claimed a Ju87 destroyed. Gerry |
