A question for Brian Cull RE: future works:
Brian:
I heard that one of your next projects would be 'Spitfires over Darwin' but I had ANOTHER question: since you've already written a book on 'Hurricanes over Tobruk', I was wondering if you were planning to forsake the SEA theater to write about the Western Desert again? Looking forward to your answer; Thanks, ahead of time; NickM |

Re: A question for Brian Cull RE: future works:
Hi Nick
Thanks for the enquiry. I understand that Chris Shores is doing a revised, updated version of 'Fighters over the Desert' - perahps Chris would like to comment, I believe he is a member of this Forum. I have plans to do 'Spitfires over Tunisia' at a later date, but first I have 'Diver! Diver! Diver!' (RAF and US fighters against the V-1 flying bomb assault on the UK 1944) coming out by September this year, with a softcover, slightly revised version of 'Wings over Suez' due in October (50th anniversery of Suez). 2007 should see Volume One of 'Blue-on-Blue in WWII' (aerial friendly fire in ETO 1939-45) and possibly 'Fighters over Darwin'. My publisher has decided against Volume Two of 'With the Yanks in Korea' for the time being, at least. Can't win 'em all! Best wishes Brian |

Hi Brian,
You seem to have a rather busy schedule. I've just finished Hurricanes over Singapore, excellent read, well done. Looking forward to your other books. Alex

Re: A question for Brian Cull RE: future works:
Hi Alex
Many thanks for the kind words - praise indeed from one author/historian to another. If that's the first of my books you've read, I hope you'll enjoy the other 20!! Cheers Brian |

I've just had a quick count and I have 10 of your books so far, so only 10 more to go. Alex

I have tried a couple of times to send you my reply to your response; I keep getting an error message so I'm just not sure it went though. Anyhow, IF you got it more than once, I'm sorry about that but if you didn't...my answer is, "Sure!" It's a bit vague but in context of your message, I'm sure you know what I mean. NickM |
