Bv 138C-1 accident

On 9 January 1943 a Bv 138 suffered some kind of emergency and was forced down at sea. A/C Vkzn was 8L+OL, after that I have no other data.

If someone could provide me the Wnr and reason (ie electrical, engine, etc) and possibly even the crew list I would be most greatful,

Thanks in advance

Adam

Re: Bv 138C-1 accident

The only additional information I have is that the BV 138C-1 8L+OL of 3./906 was towed back to base in Tromsö by Fl.B.529. Apparently the aircraft suffered no damage, nor was there any casualties. The reason was most likely engine problems. The Werkenummer was not reported.

Re: Bv 138C-1 accident

Gentlemen, is there any chance that you know additional details about accident with He 114 of SAGr.125 or Fl.Fu:Ostsee?

According to Finnish and Soviet observations and reports one He 114 was attacked by fighter on September 4, 1941 over Baltic sea near southern coast of Finnland. But it seems the plane successfully evaded an attack and gone. GQu lists of Mr. Salonen doesn't contain any mention of this episode.

May be you know more? Was the plane damaged, the names of the crew etc.?

Thanks in advance,

Andrey
