Robert "Iron Pants" Schreiber
This pilot commanded VF-194 in Korea, but had served in WW2 as a Hellcat and Corsair pilot. Can anyone provide details?

Robert Spurgeon Schreiber (112295) LTJG, USNR AV(N); Date of rank from 1 Jan 1943 USNR Register, 10/1/1942 LT, USNR AV(N); Date of rank from 1 Jul 1944 USNR Register, 10/1/1943 LT, USNR A1; VC-11 (GunO) USS Nehenta Bay VC-11 aboard Nehenta Bay operated FM-2's and TBMs from June 1944 to the squadron's reforming in early February 1945. |
