FW200 KG40 F8+DL 3./KG40
I recently purchased a copy of Chris Goss' book on FW200 Units, and it raises a question for me. I will admit at this stage I have not read every word.
Print Scale decals (not the most reliable wrt research and accuracy) have decals for F8+DL and claim it was flown by Bernhard Jope in February 1941. The information sheet contains 2 photos of the a/c, one of which has Jope reporting his mission to his CO with F8+DL in the background. Chris' book has the same 2 photos, but makes no link of this a/c to Jope. So, did Jope fly this Condor, or have the Print Scale people jumped to conclusions because Jope and the a/c are in the same shot? Thanks Peter
