Propellers
Hello Experts,
I am not a technical master and I ask a simple question. How differ the propellers between a Me 109 and a FW 190. I am going to see a saved propeller this week, but the original plane model, where the prop comes from, is uncertain. Can you help me learnig the differences thus I am abel to assign the prop. Many thx for help in advance, ginamod |

Re: Propellers
Various propeller blades and shapes were used by Bf-109 and FW-190 aircraft. Early blades were metal and later blades could be made from wood.
At the bottom of the blade should be a bunch of numbers stamped into the boss of the blade. That's whats needed to positively identify the use of the blade. |

Re: Propellers
Look at this thread "Propeller blades for identification" from Aug 31, 2019. I posted an image of the bottom of a Fw190 Prop Blade that shows numbers that Mike spoke about.
