Me 109 Serial Nr. 161144?

Digged out some parts of a Messerschmitt in South Germany and belive to found the serial #.
Now I'm looking for all details of this plane but first of all can somebody confirm that I found the serial number (Please see attached pic).
In addition who knows the history and exact type/version.

Every information is very helpful. Perhaps Rasmussen know the version and where built.
Thanks in advance

Rolf

Bf 109 Serial Nr. 161144

Grüß Gott Rolfeb!

The Bf 109 with WNr. 161 144 was a Bf 109G-6 built by Messerschmitt at Regensburg, probably in December 1943. I regret that I have no further information about this bird, but very probably some other reader(s) will know more.

It is definitely the serial number and definitely 161144.
Does anybody have some details about the history (unit and date of crash)?
Thanks in advance

Re: Me 109 Serial Nr. 161144?

WNr. 161144 Bf109G-6 was produced in Regensburg 12/43-01/44 and most likely had the StKz SU+NN.
Unfortunately I can´t contribute more...

Re: Me 109 Serial Nr. 161144?

Unf. for that period , 1944 , hundreds of Bf109 are missing in the lists, if no casualties, few chance to get the Wn.
