1./TGr. 30 in autum 1944

Gentlemen,

1./TGr. 30 lost two He 111 H due to ground collision in Taunus mountains in autum 1944.

- the a/c of Ofw. Gottfried Arnold on 12th of October 1944 (5 KIA)
and
- the a/c of Uffz. Rolf Hackemesser on 6th/7th November 1944 (3 KIA, 2 WIA)

Can anyone add details like subtype, Werknummer and Verbandskennzeichen of both He 111?

Thanks in advance,

Heuser

Re: 1./TGr. 30 in autum 1944

Hello gentlemen!

Another question concerning TGr. 30:
On 13. April 1945 at 9.20 pm 4 He 111 took off from airfield Reichenbach
with destination La Rochelle. Because of bad weather-conditions they had
to stay 2 days there. On 15. April 1945 only 3 He 111 turned back to
Reichenbach. What was the fate of the 4. aircraft?

Thank you very much in advance!

Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben,

Wolfgang

Hello Rémi!

I only know that one of these aircrafts was a He 111 H-16 S3+FH
from FF Wilfried Rassl. It was his last flight, because S3+FH was
damaged by the bomb attack from 36 B-26 on 18. April 1945.
Wilfried Rassl survived the war. This is from his memories!

Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben,

Wolfgang
