Re: Group Captain - initials E.C.H

I recently acquired a WW2 RAF Group Captains hat. It has the braid on the peak. All I can make out is the initials E.C.H. Long shot but anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

Danny

Boy, this is not a big shot, but a Huge shot...without date, no other data, etc....But maybe he upgrated to Air Commodore rank and maybe you can find him here:

It is the best help I can offer now

Re: Group Captain - initials E.C.H

Be sure that for "long shots" that like this one, Col. BRUGGY, who is a member of this Board is our "Zaitsev" or "one of our best snipers". He surely will "BINGO" your man....He does matches the most impossible Historical problems I have seen, during the last 17 years I have been member of this Forum. I take my hat for him...his library must be "THE Library" (of our dreams).
