16 SBAP in Winter War article

Interesting article was published recently in LJ by Oleg Kiselyov:

"Long hand of Moskow" - actions of 16sbap (fast bomber air regiment) in 39-40 during Winter War.
Part1: http://slon-76.livejournal.com/3206.html
2: http://slon-76.livejournal.com/3577.html
3: http://slon-76.livejournal.com/3633.html

In russian.

Re: 16 SBAP in Winter War article

The 16 SBAP was with 11 MAD based at Cherlena and Zeludok. These bases were over run by 24 June and "list 12" show the regiment was active at the front until 31 July 1941 but there are no accounts of the regiment's actions in July. Does anyone know of any accounts of the units movements and actions, does not matter what language it is in.

Thanks

Re: 16 SBAP in Winter War article

Concerning 16 SBAP, I would like to mention that my book Red Stars Vol.7 (Soviet AF in the Winter war), published by Apali, Finland in 2011 (see
http://www.apali.fi/kauppa/product_details.php?p=315) includes a detailled history of this regiment up to 1941. I am happy to mention that I got extensive assistance by the above mentioned Oleg Kiselev (and also from many other Russian aviation historians) for my book.
