HE-115 7th mar 42

Hi,
Not sure if i asked this one before, apologies in advance if necessary.
Anyone have any info on a claim 7th march 1942, 05:30 hours of a HE-115 shot down by 600Sq 4 miles S/E of the Lizard , cornwall, a/c claimed to be seen crashing into the sea.

Sorry, but Luftwaffe records does not show any loss or severe damage to any seaplane on or around this date. No He 115s were lost or damaged between February 10 and March 20, 1942.

...and there is nothing in Luftwaffe records that would indicate any other ac type lost that night

The Tony Wood site has this listed for 8 March 1942 same unit and time.

If this claim is an authentic one, I would like to see the Luftwaffe loss record matching this claim. I have been through nearly all Luftwaffe records concerning seaplane operations, and found nothing that could match. Nor any reported loss of crewmembers around this date. The period from 1939 - 1941 is well covered in records from both Luftwaffe and the Kriegsmarine at the Bundesarchiv-Militärarchiv in Freiburg.
