Karl,
Lindenberger is one of the "unknown" pilots of Jagdverband 44. In his own writing from 1945, he identifies himself as a pilot of Jagdverband 44 and states that he trained American pilots to fly the Me 262 in the US. In order to be training pilots in the US, he had to have flown the 262 beforehand. I plan to write a small book about Lindenberger in the future. Barry
