Hi all,
Can anyone provide me with the Erkennungsmarke [identity disc nos.] of the following pilots who flew with I./ZG76 or the later II./NJG1 in the 1939-41 period: - Hptm Gunther Reinecke [is it 53590/1 ??] - Hptm Wolfgang Falck [should be 53592/1 but I have no way to verify this] - Hptm Heinrich Graf von Stillfried - Oblt Hans Jäger - Oblt Gordon Gollob - Lt Helmut Lent - Lt Reinhold Eckhardt - Lt Hans-Karl Kamp - Obfw Herbert Schob - Fw Leo Schuhmacher Thanks in advance! rgds andre |

Re: EM Nrs. - Pilots of I./ZG76 ~ II./NJG1
Hi John and Chris,
Thanks for your replies. Much appreciated. To John, some interesting things from the numbers: - Lent : obviously changed his EM when he bec StKap - Eckhardt : seems to have spent some time in 1./ZG52 before moving to 3./ZG76. - Kamp : kept his 3./ZG76 number thru most of his career, as this Staffel was assigned 53593. Anyone know which units were assigned 60022 and 60932 [this 2nd one very likely an NJG unit]? Thanks again! rgds andre |

Re: EM Nrs. - Pilots of I./ZG76 ~ II./NJG1
Hi, with interest in Lt Reinhold Eckhardt serving with 3/ZG76, do we know what time period he moved to 3/ZG76 and how long he served with this unit.
Best regs, Steve. |
