DVD advice?

Any really good R2 DVD tips that are worth a purchase?

There seems to be a real increase in offer when it comes to documentaries on DVD, but like others I always fear buying poor transfers.

One series I was very happy about is The Color of War I-IV (which might be known under different names elsewhere). Although some of the footage left me with some suspicion about the originality, looking colored instead of color film.

Have held Nazis - A Warning from the Past in my hands a couple of times.

All tips welcome.

Re: DVD advice?

Finally bought Nazis - A Warning from History, and although I already knew the series as I watched it on the BBC, I can say that this is almost a must have if you are interested in WW2.

This series sells for less than € 15,- in Holland!

Since they've released a number of similar BBC series at the same price I'll be buying a number fo them (Heroes, WW2 Weapons and Auschwitz).

As for transfer quality.

The series is a good as originally transmitted.
