Strange Acft Markings ID Request

Would appreciate any help to identify the strange rudder markings of this IL-2
shot down by flack somewhere in Ukraine. Is the first time when I see such markings
instead the Red Star and presume are the markings of a squadron
dispatched from one of Soviet Republics in Far East. Note the front
part of the fuselage far right of the tail section

Re: Strange Acft Markings ID Request

The second aircraft I can't identify for sure though is a VVS aircraft
possibly an IL-2 as well.

Re: Strange Acft Markings ID Request

As stated above, just the number 21.

Second image is an IL-2, no markings visible.

Re: Strange Acft Markings ID Request

There is very clearly a red star on the tail of the aircraft with "21". There is not enough contrast in the photo of the second aircraft to say there is NOT a red star there as well.
