Ki-43 Hayabusa fuselage?
Found this picture on E-BAy. Is this the fuselage of a Ki-43 Hayabusa?

Re: Ki-43 Hayabusa fuselage?
Don't think so, canopy looks too bird-cage and fuselage lacks the big access panel :

Would tend to agree udf, also look at the base of the fin, tho the rectangular opening appears to be too far aft.

Re: Ki-43 Hayabusa fuselage?
Think you are right about the Ki.30 ANN, see the 3rd photo down on this link. A very similar wreck.
In March 1942 there were 2 Sentai with ANNs in Burma, 27th ( Toungoo) and 31st (Phitsanulok) with 5th Air Div. ( HQ Rangoon). Rarely seen after then though some as Kamikaze. Nick http://www.talkingproud.us/Military/...tShotDown.html |
