Fg Off J M Haslope 165 Sqn Camera Gun Shots

I know the subject has sort of come up before and a relative did respond (but nothing after that) but does anyone have the camera gun stills from the above pilot's combat with an Me 163 on 10 Apr 45?

Re: Fg Off J M Haslope 165 Sqn Camera Gun Shots

I think there's at least one pic in 'The Spitfire, Mustang and Kittyhawk in Australian Service', and also a pic of the Mustang he was flying. But I'm not 100% sure on that!

Is the claim confirmed by Lw records?

Bruce

Chris

Searching on IWM Collections Haslope's name does come up in camera gun footage but it seems that it is not for the Me163 claim.

Bruce is correct there are images on page 107 in Stewart Wilson's book ISBN 0 9587978 1 1.

Thanks both. Would be interested in the source of the CG shots. As to a Luftwaffe loss, nothing has been recorded
