USAF (?) Collision over Bentley, Suffolk

Does anyone have any information about a mid air collision over Bentley, near Ipswich believed to have involved two USAF jets in the mid to late 50's?

Have spoken to eyewitnesses to the crash but have not been able to pin down ID of the aircraft/pilots involved.

Thanks
