Information concerning loss of Feld. Matl Hamberger - fighter pilot - 20.02.1944

Hi,

Can anyone provide details over the career and loss of Feldwebel Matl Hamberger who was a fighter pilot killed in an air battle?

1944-02-20, 8./JG 3, Bf 109G-6, 26025, 12 km nördlich Montabaur, Absturz nach Luftkampf mit B-24. Bruch 100 %.

Off topic. Rick, did you receive my PM with my e-mail address? This is in regards of a scan of the death card of the pilot lost in Sept. 1944 we were 'talking' about earlier. Thanks.
