BAMA Freiburg.

Great news. You are now allowed to use digital cameras in Bunderarchiv Germany.

Bring plenty of batteries. We took nearly 18.000 pictures within 4½ days in Freiburg.

I bought a mains adaptor for my camera, so provided there's a power outlet I don't have to worry about batteries running out. It's proved invaluable at the National Archives and far better than my old system of having three batteries and hoping that one would recharge before the last one ran out.
