Hello Wolf
According to The Nachtjagd War Diaries by Boiten and Mackenzie this aircraft was possibly shot down by Unteroffizier Hans Rechenberg of 1./NJG 6 as his first victory at 0:55 southeast of Darmstadt on 24 August 1944. I hope this helps. Horrido! Leo |

Thanks, Leo!!!
Do you perhaps also know who shot down a Lancaster III (ND 786 DX-I / Pilot: G.J.Mee, target Schweinfurt) in the night of 26th to 27th April 1944 near Miltenberg (Main)? |
