Kriegstärkenachweisung K.St.N. 1212(L) in 1945

Best wishes to all! Can anybody help me with the following, longstanding, problem:
if a Luftwaffe Nachtschlacht unit was formed according to K.St.N. 1212 (L) in 1945, with what type of aircraft would it have been equipped?

Thank you!

Hello Hans,
most likely the Fw 190 G-3, G-8/R5 or F-8 or the Ju 87 D-3 or D-5. Those were the aircraft mostly used by Nachtschlacht units in 1945. There were other types used by NSGr. like the Ar 66, Go 145, He 46, but I doubt it. Especially considering the state of the war and the sophistication of the enemy on the western front.

Regards,

Norbert

Hello Norbert,

Thank you for your response. I agree that the types you mention are the most likely.
Let me elaborate: I have a document in which the order is given for the Schlachtstaffel of the ROA airforce (Vlasov airforce or VVS-KONR) to convert to a Nachtschlachtstaffel.

In the document the Kriegstärkenachweisung (table of equipment) for the Schlachtstaffel is K.St.N. 1257(L) which I understand is for a Ju 87 equipped unit. The K.St.N. for the Nachschlachtstaffel is 1212(L).
I am not sure about the intended aircraft equipment for the Nachtschlachtstaffel but it could be the Ju 88, unlikely as this may seem.
I was wondering if anybody had came across this K.St.N. in original documents and could confirm the above.

Regards,

Hans Mcilveen
