Looking for Me110 W.Nr. 2436 Loss Clarification Needed

Hey guys...

I am trying to decipher some loss info...this is what I have:

Bf -110E W.Nr.2436 KJ+ZM - 100% Loss

due to collision (?) with a Ju87 KJ+EM of Stab St.G 2

10.03.1943 F Pl.Qu. 7072

Oblt. Müller, Gottfried-vermisst
Fw. Grothe, Wolfgang-vermisst
Ofw. Perplies, Hans- vermist

Can anyone verify this info?

TIA

Mike

Mike,

I guess this is why you asked for information about the plane:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/WW2-German-...item5b2e2b482c

Sorry that no one bought your offer so far...and I´m still wondering why somebody like you is receiving so much help on this forum. And you are right, dog tags of soldiers MIA are just a "Superb addition in any display":

Probably because I donate over $80K a year in the help of recovering items, and aircraft losses...and over $200K in restoring airplanes and vehicles in order to preserve the history.

If it was not for people like myself and others, most collections would be empty, and information lost to time.

I would sugesy=t you do your own research and know who I am and what I am about, before making your usual off-hand remarks and pointless comments.

I did my own research, especially for Latvia, and this is why I am so mad at people like you. You don´t "preserve history", you support grave robbers all over the world and make a business out of it. You really want to tell me that selling personal belongings of soldiers online is a honorable thing? This is what you do.

@Nick: Every community should allow pointing out at abuses.

Being heavily involved in MIA cases for many years and having solved over 25 cases together with the VDK and WASt I strongly believe selling EM on Ebay is not appropriate and at a minimum shows bad taste. Regards John
