TG-5 gliders in the CBI
Hello friends
Have you ever seen Aeronca TG-5 training gliders as used by the 1st Air Commando in the CBI, mainly Burma? Do you know their camouflage scheme, code letters/numbers? Thank you very much for possible help. Best regards E. |

E - There were 25 Aeronca TG - 5 Gliders in 1st Air Commandos. Captain William Taylor Jr. Glider Section Commander. These were used in small remote sites. Towed by UC - 64 " Norseman ".
