616 Squadron Meteor F1s

Whilst I have details of all of 616 Squadron Meteor kills against V-1 flying bombs, including copies of combat reports, I do not have serial numbers of the Meteors involved in these kills. Has anyone such details (not in ORB). I believe the first six operational Meteors were EE213/YQ-A; EE214/YQ-B; EE216/YQ-C; EE219/YQ-D; EE227.YQ-Y and EE229/YQ-W. Can anyone challenge this?

Also, I wish to learn the fornames of the pilots who made the kills:
T.D. Dean, J.K. Rodger, G. Hobson, R. Easy, T.S. Woodacre, P.G. Watts, M. Mullenders (Belgian), H. Miller, E. Epps.

Fingers crossed

Cheers
Brian

Are you certain about EE213 and 214? As per Air Britain these only served with AAEE, ETPS and AAEE again + AAEE and TRE,Defford, respectively.
I know that both has been reported before as having been delivered to 616Sq on 21.7.44 for conversion training, but can the codes be verified by photo proof or something, since both aeroplanes were non-operational!
What is your source on those two?

Cheers
Stig

Hi Stig

I believe these two aircraft were used for training flights only and not on operations.
