Panel & Markings - Help to ID

A friend of mine is helping me with the potential acquisition of this panel which the seller states had come from a Ju87.

Through the help of another forum I have at least narrowed down the artwork to be at least similar to that of ZG.26 insignia.

I would very much appreciated some more opinions on this piece as I am not convinced the insignia artwork is period, although identifying the actual panel and to what aircraft it belongs is still a mystery.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not having any luck matching this panel up with a Ju 87 or Bf 110.

Re: Panel & Markings - Help to ID

It appears to be art. The panels may be from an aircraft - maybe.

Re: Panel & Markings - Help to ID

Looking at the red tongue on the ...fish?

I see a lot of smeared black around the chipped paint, and also around rivets. This to me suggests an overwash was applied to 'age' the paint.

Highly suspect piece IMO.
