Field Grave - Hans Niesgen 29.03.44
Hi, Can anyone supply me with futher information regarding this loss please? The attached newspaper scans were sent to me a number of years ago and I have just come across them in my files. A long shot but maybe one of our German members has a descent colour photo of this field grave. Any help always greatfully recieved.

In the NVM the name is Nieskens:
1944-03-29, 4./JG 1, FW 190A-7, 430358, 9 weiße, 1 km nördlich Badersleben, 15 km nordwestlich Halberstadt, Absturz nach Luftkampf mit P-51. In der Luft explodiert. Bruch 100 %.
Flugzeugführer Uffz Nieskens, Hans, +

The VDK have him listed as buried at Badersleben, but with a date of death given as 19.03.1944.
