Question about nickname on Potez 63.11 of GAO II/520 SD Luxembourg on 10.5.40
Hello,
A Potez 63.11 with the below description in Cornwell's BoFT&N has a nickname on the nose: something like "Baghea." Does anyone know what the word is, presumably in French, and what does it mean? “May 10, 1940: GAO 2/520 Potez 63.11 (570). Shot down by flak during observation of enemy motorised columns and crashlanded near ‘Kaaschboesch‘ at Ell, west of Redange, in Belgium 1.20 p.m. Capt Fabia, Capt Francin (Commandant), and Sgt Stizzel all captured badly wounded. Aircraft a write-off." Thanx, |
