Re: Ju 88G-6 NJG 2 December 26, 1944

Hi guy's

Many thanks for all your answers, It's a lot of info.. I.m still looking for a JU88G-6 which crashed between St-Joost (Echt) and Montfort Limburg Holland. One of the eyewitnesses say it was November-December 1944. He told about 1 killed pilot. John I think Joop asking you also about this plane.

Michel,

Then it is better to ask that question specifically on this board with the details you have already. Even better to start a separate topic on this case.

AD(I)K report 41/1945 gives the loss of a G-6 of 2/NJG 2 at 0345 hrs 25th. Dec. near Stevensweert S/W of Roermond crew all prisoner . This appears to be in the general area you indicate a possibility ?

Quote:
ADI(K) Report No. 61/1945 and AIK(3) Casualty List No. 434(B) give the location as "Chaumont (Marne)", but this is no more than the location where Bordfunker or Beobachter Ohnr. Rückert was captured.
Thanks Rod, sorry to slip away from the thread but it seems this is the right Chaumont.
