What plane is this???

Hello,

I have a Flugbuch from from a man, whoflew with KG 26. Most flights are with He 111 and Ju 88, with an occasional other A/C.
I need (a lot) help to simply read what it says below the Ju 88 1H+DU.

The code is 1H+OW.........and he flew it in Nov. 43 and again in April 1944.

W 34? But did they fly with the code of KG 26?

Thank you very much in advance,

Christian

I have seen photos of a Ju 52 with the code of KG 77 so there should be no problems with this

Re: What plane is this???

Yes, its We 34 1H+OW, sometimes written such as pilots thought W stand for Weser and thus We. Of course many Junkers W 34 were built by Weser (WFG), but W stood for Werkehrsflugzeug (Commercial plane) after 1927, They were W 33, W 34, W 41 (F 24 Kay). Ju 52 flew with 4D+ of KG 30, 4U+ etc. F8+ on BF 108. Good catch.

Re: What plane is this???

"Werkehrsflugzeug"? In Germany it's an Verkehrsflugzeug ... and the designation isn't V 34 ...
