Encyclopédie des avions de chasse français 1939-1942
I am glad and proud to introduce my new book on the French fighters of the early part of WW2.
It includes 22 entries: - the four major types (Bloch, Curtiss, Dewoitine, Morane) which bore the brunt of the German onslaught, - minor types which saw limited air action (Arsenal VG.33, Bloch 151, Potez 631, Koolhoven FK.58, Caudron 714...), - ancien types which were still in first line units at the outbreak of war - and prototypes which flew before the armistice and would have probably been ordered in series if things had turned up differently. Their careers are described from the inception (as early as the mid-thirties) to the last flight of the last machine (as late as 1953), as well as the projects that were under study, and also their fate under different flying colours (Croatia, Bulgaria, Germany, Finland, Italy...). Text in French, 168 pages (A4), hard cover, about 180 photos (some in colour), line drawings (some four views), about 50 colour artwork. Price: 39,90€ + postage It can be ordered from the publishers site: www.caraktere.com Last edited by CJE; 8th March 2018 at 10:17. Reason: typo |
