Beaufighter VIf X8147 141 Squadron RAF mid 1943
Hi All
I'm looking for information on a Beaufighter VIf, serial X8147 that was operated by 141 Squadron RAF from Wittering on Bomber Support ‘Serrate’ duties during June – Sept 1943. The aircraft was the usual mount of the Squadron's Commander Wg Cdr JDR Bob Braham. Brahams last Beaufighter kill was in this aircraft on 29 Sept 1943. Does anybody know what the code for this aircraft is? There is nothing in any publications that I’ve been able to find or the Squadron ORB. Regards Richard
