JG301 Fw 190 A Wk.Nr.

Hello,

Does anybody have information about a Fw 190 A Wk.Nr. 961093 of JG301 "Red 3" (a dark number, could also be another color) and a horizontal bar (dark) over the RVB?

It had a bomb on the center fuselage rack when it was found by allied troops.

Thank you.

Regards,
Roger Gaemperle

Photos

No, as far as I am aware, they have not been published before. I got them directly from a US dealer who probably got them from a former GI as there were also other non Luftwaffe aircraft photos.

According to Bookie [ http://fw190.hobbyvista.com/werkn.htm ] Wk.Nr. 961093 is a Fw 190A-8 and according to the markings it is from 6th Staffel.

Here a beta resume about JG 301 markings:

Cheers

Hi,

Thank you for the info. The resume about JG301 markings is very interesting and helpful to identify the Staffeln.

Kind regards,
