P-47D lost on 26 April 1945 ( 57th FG, 64th FS )

Good night to all friends!
This is a question to someone who knows about the USAAF. I am particularly interested to know the serial number, code letters and "surname" ( if the airplane had one ) of the P-47D flown by Lt. Albert B. Nickels from 64th FS, 57th FG in Italy on 26th April 1945.
He was shot down by Flak and survived a terrible crash.
Thanks in advance for the answers
Adriano

PS: I do not know if he is still alive. We kept in touch for some years but lost contact.

Yes, FrankieS!
It must be this machine...and the mission description he sent me, although a bit different is about his last mission - this same mission ( 74th ).
Have you read the article? He was born again! Trully a miracle....
Thanks for the serial number!
Yours
Adriano
