anyone have the Rechlin 190A4 test chart?

Sadly, I don't have a Fw 190A-4 test chart, but I have ground level speeds at climb and combat power (2400 rpm) for W.Nr. 619, which I think was one of the 30 a/c modified to A-4/U3 form, and for W.Nr. 669, which was a A-4/U8 TF+FQ. This is from "Flugleistungen F W 190 mit Abwurflasten" of 9.2.43 (9 Feb 43). The main part of the report consists of calculations for various loads at ground level and critical altitude. Then, it gives the comparable values as flown by Flugabteilung, Wensendorf, in the above two a/c, but only for ground level.

If you want them just say so.
George

PS. I also have various values from British reports based on the first A-4/U8 they captured, but think they have been calculated, not flown. They also give values for the 109G with 250kg bomb and two underwing drop tanks. Hmm, I wonder if the 109G could have taken such a load?

Fw 190 A-4 calculations and flight tests

On 9.2.43 Focke-Wulf issued a report entitled "Flugleistungen Fw 190 mit Abwurflasten." While the Fw 190A-4 is not mentioned as such, the two a/c mentioned by W.Nr. are A-4s.

The first part of the report gives calculated values for the a/c in various guises.
I. All values are for the Fw 190 at Climb and Combat setting (2400rpm). With wing area of 18.3 square meters. Surfaces filled, sprayed, and polished. Internal supercharger intake. Adjustable cooling exit flaps. Narrow (enge) cowling.

Sorry that it's not really very exciting material, but it should give you an idea of Fw 190 speed losses with various types of ordnance.
