Hi all,
is possible, that Sgt H.W. Pettit was shot down in combat with 1.(J)/LG 2 ? Only claim know to me is by Lt. Fritz Geisshardt ? Geisshardt claim is sometime linked with Spitfire P7741 - pilot S/Ldr. E.J.C. Michelmore, which was KIA in combat - but I don´t know, if the time fit - Geishardt claim was 15:30 German time, but Biggin Hill Wing claim all victory about 13:55 UK time ….difference is 30 minutes or 1h and 30 minutes.
