This should be a Mtt built Bf 109 G-14. No unit ID to be recognized...

Bf 109 K-4 in the W.Nr. 330xxx - 331xxx batch, "Schwarze 2". Notice the dice emblem which can be seen under the windscreen. After checking my Flickr account, this is Bf 109 K-4 W.Nr. 330 ... Re: Wreck Me262, Photograph, April 1945

The last Me 262 looks like WNr 170071 "White 2" from III./EJG 2, flown to JV 44 by Maj Erich Hohagen and found at Hofolding forest close to the Autobahn.

Regards

Roland

Re: Wreck Me262, Photograph, April 1945

Hi Roland,

yes, this is "white 2", WNr 170 071, ex EK262, then III./EJG2, parked at the end of April 45 alongside the Autobahn near Brunnthal airstrip.

Luftwaffe took over this plane on 27th July 44. So this Me262 had a very long service life.

There are photos of Hohagen sitting in the cockpit of this "white 2" taken at Lechfeld in November 44 . I am quite sure that Hohagen didn´t fly this kite when with JV44.

Best regards, Karl
