Hptm Herzfeld
This officer is stated to have flown with 7./KG 40 in 1941; I cannot find anything on him and Larry/Doug have nothing. Anyone have any thoughts?

At last found this was Hptm Heinrich Herzberg. Formerly III./KG 1, he was killed commanding I./KG 101 in Feb 44

HERZBERG, Heinrich. (DOB: 02.01.13). 02.04.43 Hptm. (Tr.O.) in Offiziere z.b.V. Ob.d.L. (Sch.Etat), trf to Erprobungsstaffel Me 410 (to 07.05.43). 07.05.43 Hptm., trf to and subsequently appt Kdr. I./KG 101 (to 02.44). 01.11.43 Hptm., I./KG 101, promo to Maj. 27.02.44 KIA - crashed vic Bastogne. Buried at Lommel/Belgium. (webinfos, as you surely know already, dear Chris)
