Me109 Swas Panel - Authentic...?

I am looking into this swastika panel which is claimed to be from a Me109.

I would very much appreciate any opinions as to its originality.

Please see attached images.

Re: Me109 Swas Panel - Authentic...?

Stay away.

It is a piece of original aluminum that someone has doctored up. Fake weathering...rivets are not correct.

Re: Me109 Swas Panel - Authentic...?

There was a chap that made these years ago and sold them as weathered copies. He never claimed they were authentic but it seems that some are reappearing again with histories attached to them.

I have seen several in the past two years and some have gone for silly money.
