Which Luftwaffe school unit was based on Tapolca airfield, Hungary, in early September 1944? I have a Bü 131, CB+HA (depicted) and a Caudron C.445A, DI+DS.

Hummh,

Bü131 CB+HA FFS A 41 in January 1944.
C 445 A-1 DI+DS FFDS A 3 December 1943 to April 1944.
Indeed, that means nothing regarding the period you're looking for but I did check because, excuse me, the markings of Bü131 seem to have nothing to do with JG108 ... At least as far I know

But pictures you posted seem to hv to do with JG 1XX, where hv you found the STKZ ?? Hungarian docs ??

I read the Stkz. from the photos (for the Bü 131 only the last two letters are legible, but there is no other combination).
