SQUADRONS! No. 10 - The Mustang IV in Western Europe

A new title is now available from SQUADRONS! series:

The North American Mustang Mk IV in Western Europe:
The North American P-51 is among the most famous fighters of WW2, and the P-51D probably the model the most known. The RAF became a late user of this model as Mustang IV, and they participated to the last weeks of the war over the continent in escorting the British bombers or over the sea escorting off the Norwegian or Danish coasts the Beaufighters or Morquitos of Coastal Command. With close to 40 pages, over 30 photos and five colour profiles.

The next issue (No. 11) will complete this study with the operations of the Mustang Mk. IV in the Med.

Re: SQUADRONS! No. 10 - The Mustang IV in Western Europe

Maybe my eyes are getting old, but a lot of the pictures in this seem fuzzy and out of focus. Maybe their source material wasn't that great to begin with (not like there would have been a ton of pictures to start with) but I have noticed that in some of their other publications, picture reproduction is less that sharp and crystal clear (for instance, in No 4 on the Fortress Mk I, while overall reproduction was better than in this offering, there were some pictures that I have seen source for that are really sharp and detailed, and in the publication they seem to lack the same clarity.)

Otherwise seems to be a nice balance of stats and operations.....

Hi Tom,

Sorry for this late reply. Sure it will, but later on this Autumn.

Merci, Phil.

My book shelves are sagging, so the Kindle versions are welcome. Keep up the fine work.
