III./SG 3 in Courland

This unit fought almost until the end from inside the pocket.
However, soon after the Soviet offensive of January 1945, the front moved up about 400 miles westwards, cutting off all German supply land and air routes.
How was III./SG3 resupplied?
Or had the Germans built up sufficient fuel, food and ammunition reserves to stand up to the Red Army for four months?

Re: III./SG 3 in Courland

If I remember correctly, it was the Kriegsmarine, which played a significant role in keeping the Courland pocket supplied and protected/supported by the guns of its heavy cruisers and destroyers.

Great!
Say! I have translated their article on the Wüstenotstaffel for Aéro-Journal and I missed that.
Shame on me!
