Bombentorpedo (BT) series

I don't think any of my references specifies the explosive filling to be used in these weapons. I'd guess Trialen which seems to have been preferred for bombs used against ships but I'd welcome confirmation.

Thanks, that's what they were using in tests. I just wasn't sure if gun cotton (nitrocellulose) was what was intended for the production weapon.

Re: Bombentorpedo (BT) series

Schießwolle was not gun cotton (Schiessbaumwolle) but NiNa.Az
According to Wikipedia (i know...): "Es handelt sich um eine gießbare Mischung aus 67 % Trinitrotoluol (TNT), 8 % Hexanitrodiphenylamin und 25 % Aluminium"
It was mainly used in (ship)torpedos and sea mines.
