Bloody Biscay
Good afternoon all from a new member.
My particular query relates to anti-submarine attacks by Coastal Command in the Bay of Biscay and the sorties by the Luftwaffe against the RAF. I am looking for info on the colour schemes of the Luftwaffe aircraft, eg the JU88s and Condors. Was there any particular colour scheme for these aircraft for operating over the sea (as was the case for RAF planes), or did they continue to use the standard camo patterns? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks. Alan |

Alan: Surely you have answered your question in your subject title-if you have access to 'Bloody Biscay', there are photographs of both types in representative colours?

Chris.
Thanks for the reply. My copy of Bloody Biscay has only black and white photos: is there another edition with colour? Any help on colour schemes would be appreciated as I do want my planes to look right. alan |

First edition of my book has the excellent painting by Mark Postlethwaite on the cover which gives you and idea of what they looked like; the photos, when compared to any standard book on German camouflage and markings, should help further
