II./JG27 ME109 after crash landing

Hello,

i need your help.

Is it possible to identify the pilot from this 109?

Or is it possible to identify the Werksnummer?

My opinion:
II./JG27 in action during the MARITA operation.

Regards
Matthias

This might have been Bf 109 E-7 "Yellow 6" of 6./JG 27 W.Nr. 4917, 7 April 1941, Belica-Nord, Bulgaria.

Re: II./JG27 ME109 after crash landing

This is the only Josef Brandl I could find who served in JG27.
Brandl, Josef, Fw, 4./JG-27 (11/42 Med), Bf 109F, Bf 109G-6 Werk # 16451 "White 18 + -" (lost 5/17/43)
EK 1 & 2, Fighter Operational Clasp MIA 17 May, 1943 at Cape Vito, Insel Ustica, cause unknown. Two known victories, both P-40s 30 km southeast of Sollum N. Africa on 11 November, 1942. Another P-40 piloted by P/O Mink was dispatched over the airfield at Sidi Magrun on 18 November, 1942. Another, a P-38, 400 meters north of Ras-el-Djebel on 23 March, 1943. On 5 April, 1943, he downed two B-24Ds west of Insel Levanzo. His 7th, a Spitfire 40 km west of Pantellaria on 30 April, 1943.
